Caring for the hearts and
minds of God's children. Our hours are 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The Colonial Hills United
Methodist Child Development Center takes pride in the
quality of care that ourstaff provided. We provide a
safe and nurturing environment that give each child the
opportunity to grow spiritually, emotionally, intellectually
and socially. Our programs are designed to foster
self-esteem, self-confidence, competence in self-help skills
and language skills necessary for effective interaction. We
encourage children to feel good about themselves. Our
goal is to support children in their active exploration and
to help them to
become independent.
The CDC provides full-time age
appropriate care for children six-weeks old through
pre-kinder four years in a Christian environment. Children
are nurtured to grow spiritually, emotionally, socially and
intellectually. Before and after school care available for
children enrolled in Colonial Hills Methodist Kindergarten
as well as after school pick up for kinder to 5th grade from
several public schools.
Age Groups
I
nfants Infants are cared for in a warm, loving, infant-only,
environment similar to their home environment, where they
can build trust in themselves and those who care for them.
While in our care, your infant will receive intellectual and
physical stimulation.
Toddlers
As infants grow into toddlers, they are busy
learning new things about themselves and the word around them. Our teachers follow your
child's lead, focusing on his or her interests.
Pre-School In the pre-school years, children begin to develop a keen
understanding of themselves and the world around them.
It's the perfect time to nurture interests and skills that
will last a lifetime. Children are introduced to a balanced
learning environment using a well-planned educational
program with a monthly and weekly thematic approach through
lively participation in:
Discovery Science Projects, dramatic play, math, computer
activities,literacy activities.
Give your child a strong foundation to build on for success
in both school and in life!
